Parent Volunteers
Parent volunteers are an important part of our school community. In order to become a school volunteer, please make sure to complete the LAUSD Volunteer Application. The LASUD Volunteer Application can be filled out online at Volunteer Management System. In order to complete the application, you need to have an email account. If you need help getting an email account or filling out the application, you can visit our Parent Center in Room 24 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.. We look forward to working with you!
In order to be cleared to be a school volunteer, the following steps must be taken:
- Parent Volunteer fills out the outline application, prints, signs it, and turns it in to the parent center
- Parent Volunteer signs the Commitment Form and turns it in to the parent center
- The parent center completes the Megan’s Law clearance
- Parent Volunteers submits a tuberculosis test clearance
- Parent Volunteers submits fingerprinting (when applicable)
- Parent Volunteers receives an LAUSD Volunteer Badge which is sent to the school
